How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
All subscriptions for GuideNOW are managed directly through your Apple ID account. To manage or cancel your subscription, please go to your device’s Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. You can find more details on Apple’s official support page.
What should I do if my artwork or landmark isn't recognized?
Our AI does its best, but recognition can be tricky. For the best results, please try the following:
- Ensure the object is well-lit, avoiding glare or heavy shadows.
- Get as close as possible while keeping the main subject in focus.
- Avoid capturing too much of the background. Frame the subject clearly.
- For paintings behind glass, try to minimize reflections.
Is my data and privacy protected?
Absolutely. Privacy is a core principle of GuideNOW. We do not store your photos, and your chat history is deleted after you close the chat session. Your scan history is stored securely in your private iCloud account, which we cannot access. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.
Can I change the language for the text and audio?
Yes. GuideNOW supports multiple languages for both text and audio. You can change the app’s language in the GuideNOW settings. Keep in mind, changing app language only affects future items.
How does offline access work?
When you successfully scan an item while connected to the internet, its information and audio guide are automatically saved to your device. You can then access this information again anytime from your scan history or map, even without an internet connection.
